2007-09-20 [Elisha Kelly]: yeah :P I know :D of course what made it easy was that I sketched then scanned. After that I would select the area to colour, and painstakingly build up the colours with airbrushing on a very opague setting so everything was smooth. smudge, blur and airbrsh are my friends... now i love my tablet, but sometimes I still use the mouse, depends what I am doing :D

2007-09-24 [Elisha Kelly]: it helped that I built the colours up slowly, it hid the unsteadiness, and I had my cheats that kept the lines neat :D and you should not worship!!!! >:P you work is fantastic, I might not comment much but I am always watching **0.0!** :P

2007-09-26 [Elisha Kelly]: It's the best artwork I have ever created... and the only one I ever actually sold. Oils it was... much loved by all :P It went for a bargain price of $180 dollars, and was bought by another artist!!! I think I was flattered that an artist wanted. I am very rusty with paints now though... I am kinda scared to do them, in case the kids get into it, and because I might not do as well as I used too... :)

2007-09-26 [Elisha Kelly]: hmmm not necessarily. you can get oils these days that are more like acrylics. try windsor newton. :) you can also get acrylics that are very rich and put in a retardant so they are similar to oils... the possibilties these days are endless! :D

2007-11-27 [Elisha Kelly]: not really it is a progression, as we grow more comfortable in the years we develop a certain style.
